Debbie Richings, Manager of Reflections, Yate recently joined forces with other leading Stylists for the ambitious task of styling 80 models for The Global Party Worldwide Launch Party held on Thursday 8^th September 2011 at the Natural History Museum in London, in association with luxury womenswear brand, Jasper Garvida.

This most exclusive charity event saw 80 stunning models showcased, wearing Jasper Garvida with an army of experts in place to add the finishing touches. These included four of London’s most promising clothes stylists – Siouxsie, Kit Lee, Nisha Grewal and Julie-Ann Murray; make-up by AOFM London; and of course hair styled by the Wella Professionals Team including Debbie.  Four hair looks were created to complement the four Jasper Garvida collections, totalling 80 garments, in keeping with the event’s theme of all things ‘80’.

The 2,000 high profile VIP guests witnessed four live photo-shoot installations set up around the Natural History Museum featuring the 80 models, before an extravaganza of performances from artists including Bryan Ferry and Isaac Ferry, amongst others.

Debbie said, “It was a fantastic experience and great to be part of such a high profile, creative event.  It was a hectic day but the results were amazing and it has really inspired and motivated me, which I will definitely be bringing back to the salon!” 

The Global Party are a private members events group based in London, founded by Lord Fink. This year’s launch event took inspiration from the adventures of Phileas Fogg and over a period of 24 hours on the 15^th and 16^th September, they hosted 80 different parties, taking place in 80 separate locations around the world, with 80,000 high profile VIP guests from the worlds of business, media, the arts, and society.
