Company History

Established in 1971, Reflections are one of the largest family owned Hairdressing groups in the U.K. with 18 salons located throughout the South West and Midlands.

We have been Finalists in the British Hairdressing Awards for five consecutive years and won the prestigious Wella Trend Vision UK Award 2005.

As a family-owned business, Reflections’ see its staff as an extension of this and are dedicated to continually training at every level. This not only ensures our staff are trained to the highest standard possible but also that we provide excellent Hairdressing and Client Care to every one of our clients.

This investment is reflected in our achievement of both the Investors In People and EOQF Awards.

Art Directors & Art Team

It is Reflections’ aim to have a specialist “Art Director” or “Art Team” member within every salon and it is their role to ensure Reflections’ high standards are maintained at all times. Not only this, but the team (led by Kelly McCarthy) meet regularly to discuss current Hairdressing trends and techniques in order to pass on their knowledge to their Salons.

Salon Photoshoots

Each year, the Reflections Marketing and Art Team collaborate to produce a high fashion hairdressing photoshoot from their very own Photographic Studio.

The hair is styled by the Reflections Art Team to represent fashion trends for the upcoming year and these pictures are then used for Salon window displays and promotional material throughout the year.

Our Photographic Studio also offers our staff the opportunity to create their own Portfolio of work.

Reflections in the community

As part of the local community, Reflections is proud to share its success with local charities and have made donations to the likes of Keynsham & District Mencap Society and Southmead Hospital Tiny Lives Appeal.

Reflections have also supported events hosted by Rolls Royce, Temple Primary School and City of Bath College and annually support Breast Cancer Awareness month in October with in-salon events.

Reflections Training Academies

Reflections have two training academies, one in Bristol and one in Birmingham.
